Andy & Bernie - 0 comments
This weekend saw the wedding of Andy & Bernie.
A first for me, in that on saturday evening they had a Brides v Groom Ice Hockey match at the National Ice Centre in Nottingham!

I think a few people were a little worried about how well it'd work, or if everyone would enjoy it.
Put simply it was fantastic! Don't think I've ever photographed anything so much fun before.

After an hours very close, hard fought battle the score ended up at 7 all, so a good result all round & set the scene well for the ceremony & reception at Eastwood Hall on Sunday.

Excellent, fun atmosphere, great people & even Kick 'n' Rush comedy Skiffle band for good measure.

I wish Andy & Bernie all the very best for the future, but I just know you're going to have a great future together.

Kings Forest - 0 comments
After a very long day with a 5.30am start this morning after the clocks went forward, I've just arrived home to start sorting through the 895 images taken.
What a fantastic day, weather was perfect at the new Kings Forest venue (for me anyway, perhaps not so much the horses)
Hopefully will begin uploading tomorrow if I can get them into order tonight.

Robin Hood Challenge - 0 comments
Congratulations to all who had a sucessful weekend at the Robin Hood Challenge ride at the weekend.
It's such a great event & one of the best venues I've been to at Southwell Racecourse, so if you've never been, you're missing out!
Photos are now all online from both days for all to see here
Bank Holiday weekend - 0 comments
My second trip down to Exmoor this weekend for the EGB Phoenix ride.
I love this part of the world & never need much pursueding to head back down.
Simply stunning countryside with the chance to see the proper wild Exmoor ponies!
Sleepless? - 0 comments
This weekend sees me having a couple of days off from Photographing.
Shocking I know, but I'm competing myself in a race called 'Sleepless in the Saddle'
Which is a 24 hour mountain bike race.
Most normal people do it as a team of four or five riders, but there are a few mad fools who think it's a good idea to race the whole thing Solo, so guess what I'm doing...
Update at last - 0 comments
I apologise for the lack of updates of late, I promised myself I'd post more, but with a busy schedule, the actual Photographing has come first (I'm sure you'll understand!) ;)

Rufford Forest Farm social ride went really well.
A brand new venue, which meant zero road work for all the riders, how many rudes can promise that! Two field headlands, then into the forest-perfect.
That was followed by fresh, home made food!
Certainly not one to be missed next time!
Wedding bookings - 0 comments
During the last two weeks I've had four wedding enquiries & so far have taken bookings for three of those (hopefully more to come!)
All have been through word of mouth, so a huge thank you to those of you who have been happy with my work in the past as it really does make a difference to what bookings are possible in the future.
26-27th June, EGB Lions Tail - 0 comments
Stunning ride at Lions Tail this weekend, great setting with Stapleford Park Hotel & lake in the background near the start.
Little bit warm for the horses on Sunday perhaps, but perfect for me with clear blue skies & sunshine!

Next weekend sees the two days at Kings Forest, so see you there.
Ludlow & Euston Park - 0 comments
Back from a very busy weekend, having covered two rides at oposite sides of the country!
Saturday saw us at Ludlow Racecourse for the start of the two day ride. Brilliant ride despite the amount of rain on Friday night
Special thanks for me has to go to my wife, Charlotte for giving up her weekend & making it possible to cover the two rides in the same weekend

Then a drive over to Thetford in Norfolk for the Euston Park ride on Sunday, which included the EGB National Champoinship, so congratulations have to go to Nikki Malcolm for becomming the new EGB National Champion & to Dave Sainsbury to won the Young Riders ER.

All photos from both rides are now online & ready to view, please have a look in the Endurance gallery to see the.
New site? - 0 comments
There may be a new website coming soon.
I am planning to keep this existing one, which will continue as my Event Photography site, but am in the process of sorting a new one for Wedding Photography, just to keep everything cleaner, more simple & easier to navigate.
More details on this will follow as soon as I can, but please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

This weekend (18-19th June) sees us covering two of the largest Endurance events in the UK calender.

We (Charlotte & myself) will be attending the Ludlow ride where we will be attending both days & printing onsite, so please come & see your photos & hopefully take home a memento of your ride.

I will then also be at Euston Park, near Thetford for the EGB National Championships on Sunday where there are FEI 1,2 & 3* rides.
